In her national bestselling book, Disrupt Aging, Jo Ann Jenkins suggests it’s time to redefine what it means to get older. She encourages us to re-think the negative stories we tell ourselves and each other about aging. The book chronicles Jenkins’ journey, as well as those of other fearless individuals working to change what it means to age in America.
Jenkins is the Chief Executive Officer of AARP, which she joined in 2010. As the organization’s leader since 2014, Jenkins has sponsored groundbreaking work to transform AARP into a leader in social change, dedicated to enhancing quality of life for all as we age.
