The Institute on Inequality and Democracy at UCLA Luskin is pleased to support UCLA student-organized events that advance our mission. This application is open to both Luskin and Non-Luskin student groups.
Please note:
• Awards will provide up to $500 in event support.
• Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until funding is depleted, but must be submitted at least ONE month in advance of planned event.
• Student groups can expect to receive a decision in ten business days.
• Before applying, review the Institute website (www.dev-luskin-iid.pantheonsite.io) to ensure your event addresses our mission or key research themes.
• This support is not intended for individual research projects or coursework.
Eligibility:
• This support will be awarded to registered graduate student groups.
• Your event must be produced in alliance with at least one other student group.
• The proposed event must take place during the 2017–2018 academic year (by June 30, 2018).
• Awardees must list the Institute on Inequality and Democracy at UCLA Luskin as a sponsor on all outreach materials (i.e., flyers, shared photos, social media, etc.) and must share event flyer and general event description with Institute staff.
• Awardees must provide a short post-event report or summary within two weeks for the Institute to share on its website and social media.
• Luskin groups only: A member of your team or alliance must attend or must have previously attended a student event training organized by the Luskin School’s Director of Events.
